The title of the concert recalls the words of Oskar Kolberg, written in his letter of 10 December 1886 to Friedrich Salomon Krauss. The author recalls his musical calling from the days of his youth and the time, when – lost in his composing work – he would not even think of taking the mantle of an ethnographer.

The project was developed for the celebration of 2014 – Year of Oskar Kolberg.
